LAS VEGAS, Feb. 20, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Hemp, Inc.’s (OTC:HEMP) wholly owned subsidiary, The Industrial Hemp and Medical Marijuana Consulting Company, Inc. (IHMMCC), is pleased to announce that it has signed an agreement with Webxu, Inc. (OTC:WBXU), a media company that owns and operates a network of consumer branded websites and businesses focused on customer acquisition, e-commerce and mobile media, to provide consulting services in an effort to help expand their branded web and mobile development services into the industrial hemp and medical marijuana industries. According to the agreement, Webxu, Inc. will receive professional, ongoing, consulting services in the Industrial Hemp and Medical Marijuana Industries, specifically in the areas of online web development and advertising initiatives for its business and partnerships in the industry.
Per the agreement, Webxu, Inc. will pay an initial professional consulting fee of 8,000,000 shares of their common stock and then for each renewable term of the Agreement (a total of 3 years) an additional 2,640,000 common shares made payable to Hemp, Inc., on a quarterly basis. “This agreement has created substantial revenue for Hemp, Inc.’s first quarter. It also creates a stable 3-year quarterly revenue, adding great value to Hemp, Inc. and its shareholders,” said Bruce Perlowin, CEO of Hemp, Inc.
According to Perlowin, Hemp, Inc.’s subsidiary, The Industrial Hemp and Medical Marijuana Consulting Company, Inc. (IHMMCC), will produce millions of dollars for the company and its shareholders. With an influx of public companies wanting to expand into the marijuana and hemp industries, Hemp, Inc.’s IHMMCC has been inundated with potential consulting agreements. To keep up, Hemp, Inc. implemented a “Hemp Ambassador” system, whereby the “Hemp Ambassador” works hands-on with each company, everyday. Perlowin says the “Hemp Ambassadors” create a sense of a “Community of Companies” all working together to pool their resources, marketing connections and strategies in order to help all the companies grow simultaneously.
Hemp, Inc.’s IHMMCC also has a similar agreement with Dewmar International BMC, Inc. and Resource Ventures, Inc., with similar terms. The joint ventures and/or mergers and acquisitions IHMMCC will be bringing to the table has only just begun, according to Perlowin.
“Webxu was looking for a solid company with a strong presence in marijuana and hemp that could help them navigate their entry into these new, incredibly fast growing billion-dollar industries,” said Bruce Perlowin, CEO of Hemp, Inc. (OTC:HEMP) and who is also one of thepioneers of the marijuana and industrial hemp industry. “After doing our due diligence, we felt The Industrial Hemp and Medical Marijuana Consulting Company, Inc. is, by far, the best ‘connected’ consulting company in the industry so we are confident this agreement will open a world of possibilities for Webxu,” said Matt Hill, CEO of Webxu, Inc.
Bruce Perlowin, CEO of Hemp, Inc. (OTC:HEMP) said, “The industrial hemp and medical marijuana industries have become the fastest growing in America. It’s the birth of a new and clean American Industrial Revolution. Since we were the ones that started the sector and have been here since the very beginning, I know where all the gold is hidden in this industry, every nuance of this business niche, what will work and won’t work, what has been tried before and what new ideas and concepts for the industry will fly or fail.”
Webxu, Inc. is looking forward to Hemp, Inc.’s IHMMCC finding new products and channels of distribution that fit within the industry. Having Hemp, Inc.’s consulting company lead Webxu, Inc.’s path in the industry allows the company to take advantage of the explosive growth and stock feeding frenzy that is in the industry sector now. “We believe the return on this investment will yield huge profits for our company and current and future shareholders,” concluded Matt Hill, CEO of Webxu, Inc.
Perlowin further stated, “The medical marijuana, recreational marijuana, and industrial hemp industries are emerging out of the shadows of illegality and the quote ‘black market’ and into the limelight of a legitimate and legal industry, reminiscent of America’s first prohibition and post prohibition economic opportunities. Webxu, Inc. products and services are exactly what is needed in the process of legitimizing, stabilizing and bringing their brand of business tools to this sector.” He continued, “Additionally, we will be looking for established businesses in this sector as targets for mergers and acquisitions for Webxu… thus expanding their presence in these sectors.” Hemp, Inc. executive noted the company will be facilitating more mergers and acquisitions for other interested companies, as well.
This new wave of activity in the industry prompted Hemp, Inc. to step up its focus on its subsidiary, IHMMCC. Bruce Perlowin, CEO of Hemp, Inc. said, “The Industrial Hemp and Medical Marijuana Consulting Company is the best ‘connected’ consulting company in the industry, since we were the ones that started the sector and have been there since the very beginning.” IHMMCC specializes in helping other public companies move into the medical marijuana, recreational marijuana and industrial hemp industries by finding new products and services and channels of distribution that fit within these industries.
Perlowin stated, in a past release, “I know where all the gold is hidden in this industry, every nuance of business niche, what will work and won’t work, what has been tried before and what new ideas and concepts for the industry will fly or fail. When I’m not sure of something, or it’s in one of the many areas outside my particular expertise then I know who to go to, who is an expert in this area and who more likely, than not, will immediately know all the answers or where to find them quickly. Our consulting division is extremely diverse and broad.”
